Manish Harijan is a controversial contemporary Artist of Nepal. He was born in 1985, the western Himalayas village of Nepal in the poor family background. After passing S.L.C (School Leaving Certificate), He got his Intermediate level in Fine Art from Nepal Fine Art College, Kathmandu. Afterward, He did his Bachelor Degree in Fine Art from Katmandu University, Kathmandu.
His interview was telecast through Denis National television and has been selected for the “ IMAGE ART FESTIVAL, OCCUPY UTOPIA ” in 2013, for Denmark. He was awarded “ KATHMANDU CONTEMPORARY ART SCHOLARSHIP AWARD ” in 2011 to 2012. Kathmandu. He has own two solo exhibition in Siddhartha Art Gallery, Kathmandu, Nepal. In 2010 he had selected for Planet Nepal Art Festival, Alliance Frances, Kathmandu as well.
His works took the basic concept about contemporary social issues, social boundaries, social discrimination, and torture and traditional perspective still dominant in the contemporary time. Sometimes by his works creates the social upheaval against to the traditional perspective thinking and torture.A
